Seminar Highlights

Organizations often enlist the support of a third-party to conduct a penetration test but find the methodology, terms and process confusing or very hard to understand. Penetration testing is also traditionally difficult to explain to executive management including why an organization would want to conduct this type of testing. To add to this confusion many IT professionals believe that a vulnerability assessment is the same thing as a penetration test. This presentation will dispel these myths and more. Topics will include: what a penetration test is, the different types, testing methodology used as well as a discussion on the value of penetration testing for an organization.
